Returns and refunds on goods
Where the item(s) sent are not what you ordered:
If there has been an error with your order, please contact us immediately with the order number and we will resupply any incorrect item(s) at our expense. If the order was time-sensitive, we can organise a credit note or refund depending on circumstances.
Returns and refunds on paid events or workshops
Tickets to paid events or workshops are non-refundable.
- If the time, date or location of an event or workshop is changed and you are subsequently unable to attend, a request for a refund of the ticket price or for a transfer of the ticket price to another NPP event can be made.
- Under these, or other circumstances where you are unable to attend, you may offer the ticket to someone else to attend in your place. Please notify us of any changes to attendees at admin@nightparrotpress.com as soon as possible so we can amend attendee lists and send any pre-event/workshop materials to them. In the case where the attendee substitution is made at the last minute, Night Parrot Press (NPP) may not be able to supply materials or accommodate any dietary requirements of the new attendee.
- If an event or workshop is cancelled by NPP, you are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price.
‘Change of mind’ for goods
Night Parrot Press will offer an exchange or credit note for ‘change of mind’ on any items (excluding paid events and workshops) provided the following conditions are met:
- NPP has no obligation to offer a refund for ‘change of mind’.
- The customer must contact NPP on receipt of the item(s) and negotiate a return prior to returning them to us.
- The item(s) must be returned in original, saleable condition.
- The item(s) must be returned to NPP within 10 working days of making contact with us; NPP has the right to refuse any delivery of items returned to us where the customer has not previously contacted us to arrange an exchange or credit note.
- Postage or delivery costs for the initial order will not form part of any exchange or credit note issued.
- Postage or delivery costs for the return of goods to NPP will be at the customer’s expense as will any postage or delivery costs for any replacement of item(s).
- If upon receiving the returned item(s), NPP assesses that they do not meet the stated conditions, no exchange or credit note will be issued.
Change of mind for paid events or workshops
- A request for any refund for a paid event or workshop citing ‘change of mind’ will be refused.
- You may offer the ticket to someone else to attend in your place.
- Please notify us of any changes in attendees as soon as possible so we can amend attendee lists and send any pre-event/workshop materials to them.

Damaged goods

- If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately to organise a replacement or credit note.
- You must contact us within 5 working days of receiving the order.
- Please take a photo of the damaged package and include the photo and your order number in any correspondence.
- You may be required to return the item including packaging to us so please do not discard it.
